Compact .25 gets a nose job ..
With the new Compact scope coming and the new compact laminated grips in finishing and the new heavy hammer ready for install and testing … I kept looking at that Bullseye Bill’s frame extender tube that I used to create the 4 inch mod for this Compact powerhouse.
Decided that if this rifle was going to look really sharp it needed a truly professional mod on it so I commissioned a 5 inch model to be machined out of a solid bar of aluminum. I added one inch for a little more volume and think the rifle will look more balanced that way.
5 inch is complete ready for finish and looking real sharp with 3 rings at each end and fluted on thick stock.
Pic also shows a 10 inch model that I ordered at the same time for another project rifle.
I am LOVING this ! Now where’s that brown delivery truck at … I’m on the porch waiting 😆

No. I have quite a few barrels to make and some other misc. jobs that I need to tend to. You really did beat the rush…
I’ve been quoting everyone a couple weeks at the moment as I don’t want to lead anyone on with sugar coated delivery dates. I figure this will give me enough time to pace myself where I can do a quality job and meet or beat any delivery times I promise.
What’s the waiting time now .. 4 days ? 😆 😆 😆

I’ll come back up to the shop to blast & paint them tomorrow and ship Mon. as I originally promised. After a 14hr. day I’m gonna call it quits for now.

Pulaskius your 10″ Shroud is almost complete. The larger one in the picture above is not yours, only posted for size comparison. The one above was machined for a plain finish, it is too thin to flute safely at that diameter.

I’ll try to get the pictures of the second shroud up tonight but don’t know if I’ll be able to paint it until tomorrow.
