Q:

Thinking about another Condor – 25cal

I already have three and two are 25 cals. ….But I want a short, carbine style Condor in 25 caliber. What do you think, buy another 22cal Condor, sell the barrel and install a short 25cal barrel with short moderator ?

Someone give me some insight. Does anyone produce a 12″ – 25 cal barrel. What would my specs look like ? FPE ?

One of the guys(Pul’ I think) had a 12″ .25 that was doing 50 fpe IIRC….

Tachdriver,
They have charged me $93.75 for the Talon frame. As far as I know it is 17.5″ long. That is 4.5″ shorter than Condor’s frame.
The thing that I am debating about is the length of the .25cal barrel.
I would like it to be completely inside the frame and that is, I think, about 13.5″ long. But than, how powerfull can it be with that short of a barrel?
Any ideas?

What is the Talon frame length compared to the Condor frame length ?

What did Air force charge you for a Talon frame ?

I want to to have the same but I think that standard talon frame will make it very short and nice to carry arround. I think I will buy Talon frame from AirForce with trigger assembly and order heavier hammer and .25 13.5″ barrel from Tony, and I have spare Condor tank for it already. Should be very sweet and short rifle.

I actually want to do the same thing but run a remote tank that is smaller than the standard tank.
Pulaskius is shooting a 13.5″? .25, Dadwilson use to shoot a 12″ .25, and Guidotalondor is shooting a small short set-up as well but in .22

I think Dadwilson was getting 55FPE but don’t quote me on it.

Why not buy a new 12 inch .25 barrel and new short shoud and use what you got.
