Q:

material for valves

Hi guys!
I’ve been making valves for a while now but I have some serious issues finding the aproppiate material for the seal. What kind of material are you using? Is teflon a good choice? Is there any oring-design valve out there?
Thanks in advance

I thought you used leather like the old school guys! 😆

I use nylon-6 for mine.

tell us about these valves you have been building. what are you using?

tks mark!
😉

Use white delrin. Nylon absorbs water teflon is to soft and starts to extrude. o-rings will probably stick and start falling apart soon!

Cheers,

Marc
