How do you make sure you have them aligned and are not skewing the axel centerline line?
As Eric said there to adjust the ride hight and in so the head angle. The idea is to lower the centure of gravity and lean the forks over more for high speed corning on low grip suffices. They worked a treat. I found the 1.5mm bush is proving a very nice compromise 🙂
I don’t know his exact setup, but they are made at 1, 1.5, & 2mm off center to offer different adjustments for him to try. I’d guess it’s probably to adjust ride height on a shock that doesn’t have an adjustment for it. With a multi-link setup a small adjustment can make a big difference due to the leverages involved.

Bushes is old English for bushings lol. Just some small offset suspension adjustment bushings for his bike the local machine shop wouldn’t be bothered with.

Part is under compression so it always spins round on its own. Once its locked in place its not going anywhere.
