anything machined has a breakin period
it may not be that long for the condor because of the materials used in the breech
but anything with surface to surface contact will wear themselves together in a given time frame or shots taken
when i build new engines
the cylinder to piston contact has a breakin period to get everything working perfect

as far as pellet consumption
i didnt have that problem with my condor
mainly because i had a hand pump 🙄
if i had a tank id prolly gone through much more lol

You know, I don’t know if we’ve ever discussed break in periods on here.

I don’t believe these really have one. Maybe 100 rounds or so just to get everything moving, but I think they shoot as well the day you get them as they do 2000 rounds later.

I know how you feel about pellet consumption. Mine go fast. 🙁

Hell. anyway , so how long does it usually take to smooth her out and get er good and broke in.

The barrel on my condor, that is , I have maybe 700 rounds thru it now.i have 0ne hole 25 yard groups now i”m moving to 50.

cant control my pellet consumtion LOL!!
