does anyone own a NAA companion revolver (cap n ball)
im interested in one for next to the bed for any intruders

i told the judge if i was gonna shoot anyone id use my 223 and shoot
them from 300 yards not my pistol and from 5 yds
i applied for a permit for
hunting,fishing,hiking,target shooting
i didnt even list home/personal defense

and they dont want me using it for causin trouble
even though my references which you have to know at least 10 yrs
were an hunter and bow hunting safety coure instructor
a state trooper
and a CO
they still denied it

Are you unable to obtain a “Firearm”? How about a tricked out Droz, should be more than enough stun and bewilder the intruder and take him out with a ball bat. Might get lucky and put out an eye. 😀
True enough. The black powder version is WAY UNDER POWERED!
But if you have a .22 rim fire bbl, you can have it turned down and put it in your AF Gun and it will fire the black powder bullets well!
If you look at any of the old guns and ammo, shooting times, American Rifleman, from the mid 90’s you will see advertisements from N A A listing a testimony as to how a .22 NNA .22 revolver was used to stop a bad guy in Central Tx.
Guess Who. 😉 But you had better know what you are doing to use such a tiny and difficult to aim revolver for any kind of defense. ( and damed lucky) And even then, the deck is stacked against you. A quick absolutely perfect shot in a super high stress situation is a lot to ask for. ( and from a gun with only enough room for one finger wrapped around the grip.) The only real instant stopping shot is through the eye and into the brain. I found this on out the hard way. Just not enough energy in the .22 in the 1 inch bbl. Even with stingers.

They sell a rimfire version, the rimmie is substandard for a defensive pistol, but its a damn sight better than blackpowder……
Just get a regular firearm if its for the bedstand…. no need to be fumbling with a tiny framed pistol if its not being concealed.
