Q:

How many consistant shots with a full tank?

I have my Talon SS with a 12 inch barrel doing what I want. Today, I shot a 0.4 inch center to center 5 shot group at 100 ft, with the wheel at 10, and using a 7 x magnification of my BSA mil dot 3 x 9 x 50 scope, shooting JSB Exa ct 15.9 grain pellets. I did this on shots number 36, 37, 38, 39 and 40 of a full 3000 psi tank. I don’t have a chrony, yet, but my shots seem consistant to at least 50 rnds.

What is the normal number of shots for a 3000 psi tank with a standard talon ss valve?

Never shot a .22 SS– but my SS when wearing it s 12″ .177 barrel —10.6 kodiaks in the mid 800s for 50 shots or so on a 5 or so power wheel setting….

I am shooting into a .22 bullet trap,so I cannot judge the depth of penetration into whatever. My .22 pellets are chewing up my 1 inch plywoob backstop, so I purchased a .22 lr rated bullet trap and it works perfetly for paper targets.

I think if the answer to that question existed this site would not 🙂 Sounds good accuracy wise! Did you happen to note the power side of things on those shots? I know you say you don’t have a crony, but where the holes you where making in whatever you where shooting at getting less deep?

I was getting around 50 shots with my SS but my PW was on around 4
