Nice scope!
I have that same scope and mounts on my Gamo Big Cat and I am shooting the little 13-stripped gophers (body length = 6 inch) in the head at @60ft or so. Before I put that scope on it, I couldn’t hit a damn thing with any consistancy at all!

@Reminds me that I need to post the pics of this years take! Got 7 of them damn things this year!

You should really be able to reach out with that 1250!

Revwarnut

AL does have them in parts, I just don’t think I’m in one of those parts. Gotta get a little more out in the country I guess. Taking one with the condor or .22lr would be fun. 🙂

wow i thought all southen state had em
must be wrong

im going to ohio thanks giving time
bow hunting deer
and ill bring the gamo and wack a hog
lol
i shot a few last year while bowhunting i used my 22 lr head shots at likr 50-60 yds

A “your momma” joke against mr-lama, that’s original. 😆

I want to go hog hunting as well, never been. I don’t know of anywhere around here that has them though. I think it would be fun!

oh yeah

ur mom told me i cna come on down lol
she said end of the night shes toast
perfect time to go hoggin (def. hoggin= go to bar pick up fat drunk bitches take home have ur way drop em off on the street)

lol

i hear there are some wild hogs in ny but not alo
i wish they would be here like alot of states
i know they are horrible for farmers but hell i wanna huntem

So did you find a place to go hog hunting? 😆

pmed ya

Raised rail… good!

No… dont put any loctite on it… no need for that and you’ll just end up getting gunk on it.

I have a really good scope stop. It has an integrate recoil stop pin, if your scope rail has stop pin holes. If not, simply back out the stop pin.

If you’d like to have it, it’s yours. PM me your address.

raised scope rail
would it be a good idea to put some red locktite in the groves of the rail prior to installing?
i dont have stop clamp and i see they are like 40 bucks online and thats nuts lol
i was thinking to locktite a scopering base to the rail and then slide the ones hooked to the scope tight against that one for added sucureness i know it will looks funky but i think it will lock it down

I think the 3-9×40 is an IDEAL size for a big springer. I have the exact same scope on an RWS 54, which is notorious as being a scope killer… and it’s held up for years. I wouldnt feel I ‘needed’ to upgrade from that to be honest. I love my Leapers on my 54. Clear, repeatable, and reliable.

The Accushot mounts may hold well…. be sure to clean the scope rail and degrease with denatured alcohol…. will go a long way in ensuring they hold well.

I’m sorry, I dont know the details on the 1250… does it have scope grooves cut into the reciever or does it have a raised scope rail? If it is a raised scope rail, then you have a bit more flexibility in mounting.

the cope i have coming is in the clasified here
Leapers 3-9×40 AO R/G & Accushot mounts
is that small enough?
as far as the mounts im going to use tem until i can find a nice one piece mount im goin to a few gun shops tomorrow and check
ill stay with the leapers for now until it breaks
then ill upgrade to better

Something to bear in mind….

Big magnum springers and large, heavy scopes do not mix. The larger scopes will be more prone to slippage and damage. For a large magnum springer, stick with a smaller scope… less mass……

Fucking Gamo….

Just kidding ya, CP. If I were to choose a Gamo to own, it would be either an English made 1250 or a Stutzen. Both are fine looking guns. The fact that Rich in Mich worked it over is certainly a positive.

Some nice numbers on that one. Far as grouping, I’d say it should be possible to do a bit better with practice.

Scope and mounts….

You are going to want to use a good one piece mount. Anything else and you will run into troubles. A BKL 260 would be ideal if you can find one. The Beeman one piece adjustable would be my next choice… after that, an Accushot one piece…though I’ll admit, I dont have one on a true magnum class springer. Both my Kodiak and Patriot have BKL 260’s. My R1 has the Beeman….

Scopes…. I’ve heard good things about the Hawke scopes, though I’ve never put one on a springer. Some folks dont like them, but I’ve had good luck with Leapers and have only had one break (out of about a dozen) I sent it to Leapers and they sent me a new scope, no questions.

Congrats on the gun!

what kind of scope mount do yall reccomend?
i am using a cheapy i bought from illwill on here
it was an airforce scope (leapers)
i will have to upgrade the scope and mounts when i save up some more coin

i cant wait
i really wanted to get back into a condor
but i just couldnt afford to get all set up with hpa yet and pumping just sucked
im gonna save up and im hoping around summer time i can get a tss and an air tank
but this will get me by for now 😈
