Talon from hell

Thx for the info BiB. Can’t wait to see more pix from you Dynosaur.
Hello,
This Dynosaur is my creation. It shoots a 1000 grain bullet at, and little over 800 ft/sec.
It is capable of doing much more, only with this setting it stays in one piece for 1000 shots.
I have one shot per fill and the filling pressure is 240 bar. After one shot the pressure is 190 bar.
Because the neck of the bottle is to small I was forced to make the valve outside the bottle.
The rest is simple. 85 cm barrel from Lothar Walther and big holes….
The striker is almost 1 Kg and the spring inside makes the magnum springers jealous….
Next time I have it appart I’ll will make some pictures.

My guess exactly. How many shoots per fill does it get out of the tank? Man I would really like some detail pictures of that machine; like frame, valve and other stuff.
I think not one part of a real Condor has been used for this Dynosaur. So there is no way you can make an original Condor as powerful as this baby. This one is only good for the guiness records …….

It didn’t seem to noisy to me, judging from the video. It’s very impressive. Do you know what was done to get it to 1400 FPE? I really want one 😆 😆
You’re welcome. Impressive? It’s now tuned at 1400 FPE. I’ts quite noisy and heavy though….
Gradje
Thx, very much.

@gradje post some pix and info on the Dynosaur Talon.
This talon from hell is just a baby in comparison what I had in my hands last weekend…. A Dynosaur Talon doing 1400 Fpe in cal .58!
My .32 Beaumont is only doing about 300 Fpe but is accurate as hell. I am trying making the same hole as the .58 at 100M but with 5 shots. …..
Greetz
😆
He’s shooting a airforce condor 338 Lapua 😯 WTF?
Cheers Marc
Thank you Marc. BTW what forum did you post the original build of that rifle? Was that back in the TOG days?
If you have any info on that could you pm me or email?
Cheers,
walter….
Not yet as of today. Hoping to meet up sometime in the future!
Cheers Marc

Since you’ve gone to an external valve anyway, you may find this interesting. 🙂
Knock to crack/blow open with a degree of self regulation provided by the step on the spool.
If you’re only getting one shot per fill now…you’ve little to lose by going with a blow open valve…and a few things to gain. 🙂
