Crow killed at 150 yards with a standard EDgun Matador!!!

EDgun President, Eduard Gafarov beat his personal record by killing a crow 137 meters away with a standard length EDgun on Friday, Oct. 23rd. That’s roughly 150 yards away!!! The pellet used was JSB 18.1 grain at a speed of 869.42 fps. His previous record was 134 meters = 146.5 yards. He says he can hit a crow 90% of the time at 100 meters = 109.36133 yards.
Ed’s current setup is a standard EDgun shooting around 920 fps using JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy .22 Cal, 18.1 Grains, Domed Pellets
Here’s a link to Edward talking about, and giving some advice about his EDgun Matador:

I remembered funny story after your remark 🙂 You know that in Russia the crows are considered as very bad bird which should be killed by anybody and by anyways 🙂 When we lived in USSR a hunter was given two rounds if he brings the pair of a crow legs to the hunter officials. When I became an official huntere with all documents I asked the officials to give me the licence to kill crows just in case if I would be cought by the policy while hunting them. They did not bellive me that with the airgun I will achieve any success, said just ironically “Bring at leas one pair of the crow legs”. In a couple of weeks I brought them about 1/3 of the standard plastic bag for shoping with the crow legs but I told that it was about 30 % of killed crows since many of them was out of reach, on the roofs of houses or under the trees on the boggy places. That time I killed at least 40-50 crows a day. My private record was 46 crows from on tree for about 1.5 hours, the distance was 70-80 meters. So I do not need to phot all my crows I even given up to calculate them after first thousand 🙂
