I’ve put my new trigger bits into the new frame that Walt ordered for me.Unlike my stealth trigger plate, this one has a threaded hole(same size as frame set screws) just in front of the trigger. Pop a set screw in there and you can adjust for over-travel.
Is this normal, or a new addition? I’ve never heard you guys mention it before other than doing the trigger mod which puts the over-travel hole a little more forward of the trigger?
Anyhoo, I’ve put a setscrew down there, adjusted it and it works a treat 😀

Don’t have the old one but here is the new stock trigger plate. Sorry for the shitty picture I only have a cell phone camera. But I think it will give you the general idea.
Can somebody show us a picture of both new and old if possible.

Anyone else got that hole already there??
My new condor has this same pre-drilled and tapped hole. I went to do the trigger mod and was like hey there is a tapped hole a little bit closer to the trigger than the DIY mod. I meant to post about it.

I would advise people with the confidence to monkey around with the trigger to order a new trigger plate then! Trigger feels ALOT better for it…
All new AF rifles come with that hole drilled and tapped for 10-32….
I would guess they are making this addition for the “EDGE”
While thats is very much the sort of nice thing that Walt would do, I don’t think so in this instance.
These were all new parts that Walt ordered for me, so its not an old trigger plate….
Very handy ! They should tap a hole in the frame for the pre load too….
The OLD guns had it from the factory. Maybe Walt was just being nice and did it before he mailed it to you?

Ooooohhh…No I haven’t heard of anyone having a plate that was already
threaded….
What I mean is, the hole for the overtravel was already there on the new trigger plate. Already tapped. I just needed to put the set screw in. Its not in quite the same place as the DIY job, but it still acts on the same part( the trigger piece)

I noticed this too on my new condor. I did not like how close it was to my trigger finger so I still drilled an tapped my own.
