Moved to hunting section

I keep a small list of animsl on my airguns must have list.Today I get to mark one off.Around my area the fox squirrel is like bigfoot.The only ones that I have ever seen were on somebody’s wall.Most of the habitat that use thrive with them has been cut down and turned into subdivisions.My warehouse supervisor runs a hunting club about 45 minutes from the house and told me that his club is loaded with them.I headed out early this morning and got up in the stand about 20 minutes before daylight.I was only going to hunt untill 10 am and it was not looking good at 9:30am.The unly things I had seen were a flock of doves and one grey squirrel 🙁
I scanned around again and looked down below the stand and there she was coming toward me about 15yds out 😯 It did not take long to get the Edgun on target,spin the hawke sidewheel for focus and squeezed off a 18gr jsb right between the shoulder blades.She managed to get about 15 foot up in the pine before she presented me with the follow up shot,right behind the shoulder.
