Q:

CO2 adapter question.

I think this question is being asked before but I just want to reconferm it again.
Is Valve in CO2 adapter standard Condor valve?
If yes, than if I remove it and screw it into regular AirForce tank it will work as Condor valve, right?
Next, if that is the case, than why the heck AirForce charges just for the hi-flo valve $107.95 and you can buy the whole adapter from Cobra airguns for just $74? Doesn’t make any sense.
It just came to me after I received hi-flo valve from AirForce that I could have just buy the adapter and save some money.
Dang it!

thats a pitty

as far as I know All co2 adaptors have the old condor valve, I guess they figured them old pice of shit valves had to be used somewhere 🙄

i got the same questions as the topic starter

No need to remove the valve, just look at the brass behind the tophat, If the brass has 2 round holes its the old, If the brass has to slots then you have the new?

Sam 😕

my co2 adaptor is 3 years old and has the old valve in it

I already bought one from him. It is really nice!
But I don’t need the adapter I need the hi-flo valve and I think if you buy AirForce CO2 adapter it is going to be cheaper than buying just hi-flo valve directly from AirForce, cuz you can just use the valve from that CO2 adapter if it is new style one.

Talk to Marmot Militia He makes the E-tac adapt. http://talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11161

Was your adapter old? I mean, did you buy it long time ago?
I hope if it is new adapter, than they will probably use new valve, right?
Did anyone uscrew the valve from newer CO2 adapters and what valve they use in it right now?
Thank you for the reply

The adapter I had, had the old POS condor valve on it.
