Why going for .25 and not for heavier pellets? They are not very easy to get but I’ve got my hands on 55 grains .22. 40 grains are much easier to get. The only problem I had was to make a sizer since the pellets where a bit too big for my barrel (I have a very tight career barrel). I have’nt done any testing with them but I do expect some better accuracy then with the samyangs I normally use. The samyangs where flying away with the speed of sound. Yes, I like power too…..
I hope I will be able to do some chrony testing after two weeks.

There is more air here if you need….

I dont know. prob horrible. First shot was 1408 and it started dropping quickly from there per shot. Nothing you could shoot groups with I dont think. But with the 68ci tank behimd it I might be able to flatten it out a bit. All I am really looking for is 10 really high powered shots with reasonable accuracey. This is going to be strictly a hunting rifle.

I am off to tune it a bit. Ill report the best string of the day (consistancey wise, not power).

That’s alot of power from a .22. 😯 What is the extreme spread for the 10 shots?

Are you using the blod valve UK made or US make? With the 1350 FPS, that procued 105 FPE, very dame good for the .22 Cal.

Neither actually. I am using a stock Condor valve that I did a little polishing work to (no porting or anything of the like). I went on a ramapge with with dremel about 3 months ago and polished almost everthing 🙂

WOW!!!… Did I say wow? WOW!!! Definately powder burner energy….

Hey TexasB,

I couldnt wait until tomorrow to take some measurments so I set up Mam’s (Thanks again!) chrony in my garage tonight to get some data on my new setup. I knew the rifle was shooting hard from just visual observations and the occasional sonic crack with a eugin 28 grain. With the power wheel on 2.5 (3.5ish is max I can go) I get 10 shots above 1350fps with the 28grainers. Now, I know this is way to high and I will do some tuning tomorrow to get it shooting these pellets around 1000fps. I think I may have to step up to .25 quickly 🙂

Now that looks like the kind of hammer i’ve been waiting for, how do i find this guy? Looks very well done.

I also am looking into getting one of these, maybe a group buy?

Hi guys!

I have not had a chance to get a string yet. Work has been kicking my ass. I did go to my ranch this past weekend with the .22 barrel installed and did alot of shooting. I noticed I really could not get the power wheel up past pos #4. At the maximum preload I was shooting .22 cal Kodiaks super sonic.

I only hunt with the 28 grain Eugins so I gave them a try and at PW 2 they must barley be sub sonic which is perfect. One cool thing I noticed is, I always shoot a lake from my cabin that is about 190 yards away and slightly down hill. My integral suppressed 10/22 (has porting to keep standard 22lrs just below the SOS and the Condor both had approx the same time to targets. Very nice. I also notcied I when I sighted the gun in at 50yrds it was shooting very accuratley. The weekend was great. I killed 4 big jacks all of them dropped immediately.

Mam thanks for the help. I’ll give you a call and set up a vist with you., I would like to get some tuning done this weekend.

That spring is not polished but made of bright shining wire. That’s made with diamond drawing stones instead of carbide 😆 .

Regards,

Marc
