Q:

Question for Edgun owners…..

From reading all of your posts, I guess the Edgun is a great PCP! The only problem would be waiting for it be delivered 😥

Now for the question: I am left handed, do you (Edgun owners) think a right handed Edgun could be confortably shot left handed?

If a right handed Edgun takes 3 months (or more) to arrive, imagine how long it will take for a left handed one 😥 Also, my kids are right handed so the could probably use it (in about 20 years when I’m thru with it or blind 😉 )

So please, those of you who own an Edgun try shooting it left handed and let me know how it feels ❗
I’ll be forever in your debt ❗ ❗

Ed, how can I make it quieter?? of course without adding length. 😆

Hey Ed, you’re saying that a right handed Matador would be comfortable shooting it lefthanded? Just want to make sure before I order one for Christmass 😀 😀

I can’t see me ever selling my Edgun! If i do my job, one shot has always been enough.

I would buy a semi auto version, just to have a spare!

So do I 🙂

Hello Edward. Welcome aboard!

Any truth to the rumors that you are working on a semi auto or repeating version of the Edgun?

I prefer to tell about things when I have them made in metal not in mind 🙂 The only thing I can say — I remember about those more then 2 000 users with restyling version of Matador and hope there will not be neccesety to sell their guns to buy a new one with semiautomatic action 🙂

Edward, the owner of Edgun, is left handed. They might be able to come up with a handle for you.

In fact I am right handed but due to the problems with my right eye since I was 16 I shoot from machines guns, rifles etc. with left shoulder from pistol with right hand, but if there is optic scope there is no matter for me which shoulder to use for the rifle shooting. I have standard Matador for right handed people and find it quite confortable to use it from left shoulder and even having possibility 🙂 to make a left handed for myself prefer to use right handed as it is more convinient for loading 🙂 Those right handed who understand me ordered me special left handed guns after they have seen me shooting 🙂

I ordered mine the first week of July and got it in late July. Took about 3 weeks to get it. Guess I got in before the rush.

the wait is more like 8 weeks

Thanks Bean!!

I guess I’ll call tony and see what he has to offer 😉

Yep, you maybe right Lama.

Since I’m one of those converts that went from right handed to left handed (because of my vision – much better in my left eye), I tought maybe someone would try it and let me know how it feels. But if you’ve always been right handed, then I guess it would feel wierd. ❓ ❓ 🙄

I’ve tried going lefty for the exact same reasons. I did try a lefty hold with the edgun on the bench and it was fine but for me, that’s a very different head position then holding offhand. And no, I’ve never mastered a lefty hold and yes it still feels wrong to me so I would not want to advise. The stock and breech are identical side to side so the bolt would be your only possible issue.

Thanks for the info guys!!

Have you guys tried to shoulder the gun left handed? If so, how does it feel?

They call the airforce ambidextrious, as well as a couple of my other guns, but when I shoulder them left handed it feels WIERD. I’m thinking you need to get someone who is actually left handed to try it. 🙂
