Sent over a half dozenl AGs to the Pacific Islands & not just HI
1st send it US priority mail…cost? around thirty dollars plus depending on the island so figure that into costs
2nd…never had ONE issue with sending an AG to anywhere in US controlled territory via US mail. US Mail enforces their regs and those of the Federal government. Its not within their job description to enforce code outside of that. UPS is waaaaaay less trustworthy on this point
3rd…who cares if the X-ray it and see a “gun” Its NOT a Firearm guys. What if you sent a non gun, an airsoft or were an FFL sending a powder burner? USPO does not worry about guns.
Been doing this for well over thirty years

USPS Priority is the way to go, pretty cheap. You can use the online calculator to figure out shipping charges, there are NO restrictions in regards to airguns, just make sure the bottle is not pressurized.

Or loaded… 😉

I would take it apart as much as possible or put a trigger lock on it and hide the keys in the package. Something so it is not easy to assemble and dry fire if the box is opened for any reason. I believe they x-ray everything… So it will be obvious what is in the box.

I’ll 2nd this. When I shipped something to Hawaii, it got there within 5 days. Shipping by ground would’ve taken a couple weeks, but the Priority upgrade was only a couple bucks more.

There are no brokerage fee’s or paperwork……. the OP was asking about Hawaii, NOT Canada.

Just thought I would mention the SS thing in case someone tried getting an SS.

Well off shooting now testing the JSB’s Monsters in .22 and .25 then going looking for Magpies/Crows. 😈

Only “issue” is you cannot sent it “ground” via UPS or Fedex which pushes the price up.

When your figuring out the cost make sure to include USPS – might be a good deal cheaper.

USPS would be the only way to go!Fedex likes to charge retarded brokerage fees. They would probably charge me over $100.00 for that! 😆

I guess if the person who is sending it has all the paperwork done properly one wouldn’t have to wait too long to get it.I have heard that sometimes one waits 3-6weeks before they release it.The dollar exchange isn’t that bad today(.95 to your buck)

It’s not a pain, though it is a bit more expensive.

It’s a pain in the ass to send it to Canada from the states when it’s pal rated.I’d be jumping all over that Talon of yours if it wasn’t!
