My brand new in the box untouched by human hands S400 carbine left handed walnut stock in .22 caliber AA rifle that I’m going to get an aftermarket shroud for, came in today and the lying bastard didn’t tell me the truth on the fill mechanism!
I am short one QD fitting, the one that has the male QD probe on it, so I can screw it onto the AA fill adapter. I tried blowing it by mouth, but I’m just not the man I used to be!
They don’t have such things in Arkansas.
Does anyone have a spare they will mail to me? I’ll pay market price.
Oh woe….oh woe….. oh woe is me….will no one take pity on me? 🙁
Hoot 😯
PS: I made a poem below…do you like it? Think it might sell?
To get a 400 into the exact same configuration as a 410 would require a new breech and the bolt on magazine indexer plus all its little parts plus some other stuff I’m probably forgetting.
Otherwise the other option is aftermarket add on suggested by Yelz – it needs to be indexed manually in addition to cocking the rifle, but I’ve heard they work pretty well.
there is an aftermarket bolt on that works i believe pyramid sells it i do not think the factory one would work because of the way the magazine system bolts to the breech
Does anyone else have one of these? The prior posters don’t have one in hand.
