Q:

JSB .25 groups at 56 yards.

I like these new JSB Kings! I need to work on my skills. Three decent groups i shot today, slighty windy. I see no loss in accuracy out to 86 yards (farthest i can shoot on my range). I do believe my Talon likes these better than Kodiaks. First time i have had a .25 caliber pellet break the sound barrier. Have to use a lower fill pressure with these. 😀

I think the .25 pellet by JSB to be the most forgiving pellet for any .25 barrel.

My LW poly barrel is VERY pellet picky.

Some .25 KING groups in HEAVY wind.

Thanks i’ll give that a try. Previously shooting targets was to zero my scope, then the fun was had. I’m learning that shooting targets for groups is challenging, and a lot of fun. 😀

Thanks all, hope i can tighten up my groups with a little work on my hold consistency. Seeing you guys groups makes me want to be a more consistent shot. Those damn targets can be nerve wreckers. Shot #4 and #5 are tough. 😡

If I get 1 & 2 touching then 3, 4, & 5 make me break out in hives…. It
helps to shoot high number shots when shooting groups just for
practice… Gives you a little more mental stamina and makes the 5 shot
groups a little less intimidating…
Something that helps me work on nerves is to reduce the magnification
down to around 8 or 10. It makes it harder to see where the shot lands
and lets you concentrate on executing the shot on the same POA. After
you finish a group you can zoom in to check the results…. Once you do
this for a while execution will become more important than where the
shot went…

Good shooting there!

Is this a Condor valve or Talon?

Walter….

Tryin out a condor valve for the first time, i’m liking it.

Airforce got it right on that new Condor valve.

With going super sonic, that’s a great group! 😀

I’m sure the pellet/gun combo is capable of much better groups. I was shooting off a 12″ harris bipod, and was intermittently breezy. Wasn’t really setting out to shoot my best groups, i was looking for point of impact change as the tank pressure dropped. I found i can shoot down to 1400 PSI (on my guage) before major poi shift, shot 35. 😀

SOUND BARRIER….slow it down and groups will tighten up. Even as fast as they are going, its still decent. That speaks volumes about JSB’s products.

Ill have some to test next week, supposed to arrive Dec 2.

I have 2 barrels to test them in. Happy days, fun fun fun.

Groups look great stower and the middle group looks to be the tightest.
