Shortly after I got my talon SS I decided to pull a bullet from a .223 cartridge to see how it compared to the .22 barrel on my SS. Just curious. It was far too large to fit in the barrel. I set the primed brass on a log about 20 yards out and took a shot at it, while standing, no rest. I admit there was a bit of luck involved, but I popped that primer on the first attempt. Pretty cool really, but sadly I was alone at the time so nobody got to witness it.

I’da thought those double A 266 batteries were tougher than that. 😛 😆

The A266 batteries are tuff, that was a Don G battery 😈

cant find any recipes for the aa , anybody help me out in case a herd comes thru

I not ashamed to tell you guys that ”AA beast” is going front row in my Trophy case and when ever someone ask “Whatz Zat…?” I going to use all yalls material and add some embellishments of my own 😆 So keepem coming 😀

You want to try taking on a car battery when it’s wounded, mad and coming straight at you. I managed to bring it down but we’re talking inches from my shins.

Thats nothing.
The last battery I shot was startled at the last moment and was at full trot across a field when I took it down. I must admit it was a ‘D’ battery and not a ‘AA’ Even though, they are pretty quick, so I was well pleased 😎

Did it piss you off ?

Good source of manganese for parkerizing… offcourse there are easier ways of getting to it 😀

Ya Kilt it! 😯 😆

Double A, good shot!!

nice shot. thats one way to find out whats inside.

Nice shot and close enough to offhand 🙂 these rifles are very hold sensative.

Nice offhand shooting at that distance. Those batteries are already thin but at 35 yrds…they are paper thin even with a scope.

Gotta love them new JSB .25

To clarify, I took a rest off my truck. The battery was free standing. I thought given the penatration one might assume the battery was up against something solid.
I wish I shot that good offhanded! I missed a big goobler early this morning. It was 80yrds offhanded with my .22magnum 😳
