Rapid @ 200yds
Not real impressive….. I only measured one group because all of the
other groups had shots that were off the paper… The one group I did
measure beat my best by .125″ lol… A few shots were pretty
tight but, for the most part I have a lot of learning to do…. I used a pad
for the front and my jacket for the rear to support the gun…

😀 again very nice shooting.200yrds is out there for these air rifles.
The wind stayed calm the whole time and I got all of the shots on the
paper…Yeahhh!… The groups are shrinking. I shot some groups with the
Crosman Marauder clip to make sure that the pellet wasn’t getting
damaged during the transfer from clip to barrel… Looks like it is doing
great.. No problems…. I also shot a group with no clip at all, just loading
them one at a time to see if that would make any difference… Seems the
pellets are being transfered without any damage but, it is possible that
loading one at a time MIGHT help… The majority of the shots were pretty
tight on the NO CLIP group…
I weighed out some pellets at 18.4gr and tried again….
There was a slight right to left breeze… For the most part it looked like
the elevation tightened up but I think the breeze spread the group out
left to right by 10.5″..
There were 2 major fliers, one about 3″ above the paper and one about
4″ below… No idea about those 2. As you can probably tell that is a
quarter for reference
Good job mam 🙂 I know you’ll get it down to 3″ before all is said and done or die trying.
Yea maw, looks like I am running a little low on Zen…. It has gotten
better but not where I would like to see it. I am going to try sorting some
pellets by wieght and see if that makes any difference…. At this distance
really small deviations could make a really big difference… We will see…
I can only imagine that it would be next to impossible to keep the shots
on a 2′ X 2′ target at 500yds….

I is definately a long way….. Just walking out to change the target is
almost a “day trip”. lol It is really cool to see the slinters of plywood fly
out of the back before you hear the pellet land….
