shot string after adjustment:

sorry for the blurry pics.i have a few questions.right now i’m shooting 16gr jsbs and i can’t do better then 1″ @ 50yrds is this typical?i have some 18’s coming will this improve my groups?all shooting was done off bi-pod and rear sandbag off a very stable bench in calm conditions.also are these velocitys close to everyone else’s?i’d like to thank ed for making these great guns and tony for getting them here in the us to us.

those are the most impressive shot strings I have ever seen from 1 shot to 50th a difference of 3 Fps, thats crazy.

You guys are killing me I need one

😀 2 more groups 1/2″ and 3/4″. 18’s were definitetly the trick and this gun is not leaving this stable anytime soon 😆

😀 boy a cant believe the difference a couple of grains makes.i got my 18 grainers wed. thursday i got a chance after work for one group(upper left) in heavy winds.this morning i shot the bottom 3 in not great conditions either(a little calmer).all were 5 shot groups @ 53yrds on 4x mag.not one of these groups is over 7/8″ and the upper left is 1/2″.

boy this gun is a blast and not only is it the ultimate for hunting its also a great bench gun which i do alot.i did a shot string with the 18’s and it averaged 899fps and a sd of 2.thats 32.5fpe from a 29″ package for 50 awsome shots wow.

😀 ed thankyou for your response. I do understand about wind and pellets and use other guns to clarify what’s going on in my own backyard range. I’m just trying to wring out the most accuracy I can from this awsome rifle. I did see alittle improvement today shooting of the bags in the wind as opposed to yesterday when it was calm of the bipod which bean pointed out. I’m hoping tommorow is calm so I can shoot some more. I haven’t wanted to shoot this much in a long time. Love this gun and will probably be adding another in the near future when the other guns come out.

By the way I do not accept any reclaims regarding the accuracy if you shoot on oper air, just for your information if the wind speed is just 2 m/sec (which you hardly can feel by your skin) it means that JSB 16 grain will be flown right or left 2-2.5 cm (if the wind is 90 degrees to the axe of the shooting), remember about it.

😀 thanks guys.what velocity is your guns shooting 16’s?bean i just went and tried shooting off bags in the wind and i think it showed improvement.i’ll shoot tommorow if the wind dies down.

I had the same problem with the 16’s.They grouped fine but the 18’s were tighter and more consistant.

😀 bean thanks for your reply.i’ll give the front bags a try.i’d like to do down in the basement right now and shoot but it’s to windy outside.

Same here! I’m all set up in the basement but everytime it looks like the wind dies down I open the slider and get a big gust in my face then the plants bend over sideways 😡 Got my fingers crossed for tomorrow. Supposed to get near 60 with light winds, it’s 50 with gusts to 30mhp right now.

😀 bean thanks for your reply.i’ll give the front bags a try.i’d like to do down in the basement right now and shoot but it’s to windy outside.

I’m not the group master but I would definitely expect improvement with the 18.1’s Past 20y they have done better than any other pellet everytime I’ve seen anything posted.

Also, a bipod won’t get you your best/ most consistent results. I use one as I don’t like carrying the benchrest around but I always do better off the benchrest, I think a good bag would do even better but i don’t have a good bag.
