point of impact at close range
I have shot my condor mostly at 35 yards or so. I tried sighting in for my bird feeder and found some weird results. I was shooting 2 inches left (and high) I expected to adjust the vertical adjustment by why horizontal?? is my scope or mount sideways?? is this normal?

some one just had this problem here, and they had to shim the rail, do you have the airforce added rail between your rifle and scope
will try it thanks. shooting from inside temp should not change. same window. lol
With the scope mounted so high above the bore, these guns are very susceptible to the effects of cant.
If you sighted in at your normal distance with a slight amount of cant, it will be dead on there…. but try at closer range and you’ll see a difference, same vice versa.
Bubble levels are great for our guns.
May not your problem, but something to look at.
If it was dead on balls accurate at 35 yards the distance shouldn’t change the windage at all and mine is the same at 10y as it is at 100y.
Was the temperature a lot higher last time you shot the rifle? the cold could cause the change.
Is the rifle dead level when you shoot it and I don’t know if you’re shooting off of books like I do or offhand a lot of factors to consider.
