Q:

Sony Handy Cam/ Nikko 10-50×60 diamond adapter

Here are some pics of my adapter that i had to modify. After switching to the nikko I had to make it longer for proper eye relief. It is made up of (2) 1.5″ couplers and I believe (3) 1.25 – 1.5″ bushings. (I not 100% sure because part of it is painted and made a while ago). Also needed are some cheap 37mm lens filters. My filters fit in the bushing nicely, I used 2 so they would be deep enough to stick out of the adapter. I broke the glass out of them.I had to do some reaming to get the bushing to slide over my eyepiece. I hope the pics are enough because I didn’t write this down as I went. I will gladly answer any questions the best I can. It is pretty simple to figure out if you bring your filter, and scope to the home depot. test everything before gluing together to make sure its spaced right. You should be able to do this with any scope (slight modding of course) and any camera that you can get threaded filters for.

Here is what a video looks like with it. This is pre ,tony tuned .25 and nikko. i have posted this video before but figured it would give you an idea if you think its worth it.

That’s a beauty but it looks like even at 10x it’s too much for what they recommend and then the issue of mounting it with our 11mm.

I always buy a lotto ticket or the mega million if it’s a big jackpot so I can dream for a couple days lol.

But I hear that time really flies by for rich people and when I was in fantastic financial shape the time flew by so maybe we don’t want to hit the jackpot 🙂

My mom told me money can’t buy you happiness and I said that’s true but you you can afford the way you want to be unhappy 🙂 poor people have to be unhappy on the couch, rich people can be unhappy on their yacht or on a tropical island paradise or in their ferrari 🙂

Poor people are unhappy while eating ramen noodles while rich people are unhappy while eating a steak or lobster/king crablegs and I went on and on until she said point taken.

If you win the lottery here is a sweet adapter for day/night. They didnt answer me to see if it would work with the Nikko. It would be nice ,I could use it on my AR/M4’s ACOG, and other scoped guns. It might work as stand alone too i’m not sure.

Ah, yeah that is what I was afraid of and I may have to just save up and get a dedicated NV setup errr, and I was trying to pump my arsenal up dag nab it 🙂

The good news is most of my shooting is done from a supported firing position anyway so the camera is still a good posibility.

Since my camera has night vision my scope now has night vision. Its pretty much limited to bench or prone with the camera on. A little downfall. I have to look through the side screen on camera, so its hard shoulder and see the screen. They do make TV monitor glasses, with those I could shoulder or hip fire accurately.

LOL, reminds me of the movie “meet the spartans” when leonidas had to talk to the oracle lol everything was taken out of context.

That’s pretty creative I must say with that adapter and I want so many things right now I don’t know what to do. I want more weapons (rifles, pistols, ammo) and want to get NV for my scope and a camera setup too and not sure which direction to go lol.

I’m off to joshua tree with the crew from “entourage” and eric roberts lol and I will wait for a sign.

😆 Yeah I figured someone would catch that FF. I tried editing something and fuqed up a picture. now its just a link to a pic ,sorry, and sorry there so small 😥

You have to be careful how you word things with a name like assman and it makes everything seem potentially dirty lol. 🙂
