if i had an original repeating henry i would not shoot it they bring like between 10-40k

the .44 henry is a blackpowdr round, and were made in centerfire and rimfire (didnt know that). if you reload i believe you can use 44 magnum cases with black powder, 20 to 28 grains. but i would surely check this out ,. cool gun, got to just love the smell of black powder in the morning. denny

found it old western scrounger. phone 304-262-9870 in martinsville wv. 25405. i think you can have the bolt drilled out for a fireing pin and use centerfire cartridges. probably would be a load your own proposition. just my .02 but on second thought if you have an original henry i wouldnt do that. denny

.44 henry is rimfire? i think it is still made , just cant recall who makes it. ill try to find some imfo. denny
