a few questions. In the future I plan on getting a Condor to put a .25 barrel in but what kind of performance would I get with a stock Talon and Talon tank? or a stock Talon with Condor tank? I am currently getting 825 fps with 21.1g Kodiaks on a low setting and 880 fps on a high setting. Any advice or recommendations will be appreciated .

What length .25 barrel do you have? Also how long is your suppressor?
Barrel is 24″ Shroud is OAL 20″ 3″ of which hides inside Condor frame.

I have a Talon with a 24in .25 barrel as well as a .22 barrel (also 24in). With the .25 barrel, I can get around 900ft/s using 25.4gr JSBs. I would definitely recommend this setup over a .22. Despite the loopier trajectory, it carries energy better and makes a wonderful SLAP! downrange. If you want to shoot heavier pellets, you can do so. I have done some long range work (210yds.) using the very high BC 37gr. Euin Jins and they still shoot well at ~800ft/s.
They are both the same hammer, with an added weight for the condor. I believe the condor weight put’s it at about 60 grams, if i remember correctly. I believe there is an article in the quick reference section, i would look it up but my pirated connection at the moment is painfully slow. Some sell hammers as heavy as 100 grams for the condor for extra power for heavy slugs. I’m not sure what the perfect compromise hammer weight is as of yet.
What is the stock hammer weights of Condor and Talon?
I have a .25 Talon with condor valve. Trying a 75 gram hammer at the moment. Great upgrade over the .22, with no apparent drawbacks.
There are several way’s to go here. Stock Talon with .25 bb. Mod’ed talon valve, or Condor valve or full CCCdor tank and valve.
Talon weight hammer, added condor weight or full custom hammer.
The lowest cost way to go with a .25 is bbl. + added Condor weight, and condor valve internals. The weight and internals will cost apx. 60-70 bucks al together. The internals are very easy to change out to step the Talon valve up to the Condor specs.
If you want to be easily switch back and forth from Talon Power to Condor power, get the Condor Bottle and you will have a true switch power and caliber gun.
For me, once I tried the .25, I never wanted to go back to .22

Sorry. I do not have answer to that question. I only asked Tony to send a Condor hammer weight.
The Condor uses an additional hammer weight to the Talon hammer I believe, this should be easily ordered from AF…
Ok thanks LMTSS. I will have to think about it because I don’t have enough $ saved up for everything right now. If you don’t mind me asking, what hammer weight you used and what numbers you are getting with it?

Jeff, take this for what it’s worth. I don’t own a 25 but Tim at Mac1 says the hot ticket is a condor with a talon tank. He may NOT be referring to a 25 though.
