Thanks Cyg, good stuff. 😯

i had one for a short while…..

the mount is plastic, not super rigid, not bad either, but i can see this as a point of acuracy trouble

it sits pretty high, which i didnt like

the croshairs adjust easily, how ever 1/8 or 1/4 moa it is not….more like 1/2

the tube is pretty good for a 1st gen, and with a 25 bucks 3w IR flashlight from dealextreme it becomes very powerfull

the illuminator that come with it is pretty good too, you can focus the beam which is nice

you can find them for 380 online.

i like the idea of a nightscope…but honestly it makes the rifle a night use only rifle….i tried taking it off and remounting it…and that shifted the scope…did it several times…and it shifted.

i liked my old setup with a monocular NV mounted behind a scope better, allways zeroed, as scope is never moved….nv is fast to mount or take off, even if the NV is mounted on a slight angle it doesnt matter as its the scope that has the crosshairs…so with a rubber gasget you can mount the scope so it fits you best

At that short distance you really won’t need the IR (at least I don’t on mine). Now I’m not talking about pitch black warehouse shooting, etc. Usually there is enough light out provided by the moon, except for the new moon phase.

Get a nightvision headset and a laser for your gun. Sight in the laser, and shoot from the hip. 🙂

Ta da! No scopes involved!

Well shit on my parade.

Can’t use the scope with an IR illuminator or IR laser in California… 😯 I guess I could get it and have them not ship the IR unit and use the available light but it sounds like a risky idea…

More poison, more traps!!! 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿

Thanks guys!! Weight is not a concern, it won’t be off hand…

The little bastards chewed through my buddy’s water bottle on his bicycle in four places and have been stock piling dog food all over the garage… 👿

Traps are too obvious, poison is a dead give away, smart little fucks can’t out run a pellet though.

THE WAR IS ON! 😡

I have the original version of the 390 and am very satisfied with it. Clearest Gen 1 I ever used and to me seemed to be more on par with the more expensive later generations. Mine used to be advertised as Gen 1+ and I dont know exactly what the plus meant but if the new one is like the original model it is well worth the money. I did a lot of research before purchase and was not disappointed. Only down side is the size and weight. Hope this helps.

I don’t have that one, but I have a gen 2+. ps 22. That one should be fine for what you want to use it for. The picture of that hog looks like the clarity of a Gen 3 or 4. Good price!
