need some advice on filling
here is a shot of the hill pump fill line,where I have my finger I have a leak,this is a setup i have made as the first fx pump I purchased went flop after a few useages,so I bought the hill pump,what do you guys use for fitting to fill this damn gun.the pump is a pain enough to use without a leak,I have tought about a scuba tank setup but dont have a shop near me as im in ohio and scuba is not that popular around here..lol
maybe theres a fitting I need to use with my setup..thanks

Try using this calculator. 3dracer sent me it it seems to work pretty well if you know your inputs.

he has a BIG floor mounted compressor and does 4500psi fills.
there is also a hose and fitting place in the same area that will have gauges, quick connects etc.

Im in SE Ohio,how many times can I fill the small bottle off the gun with a scuba tank?
Hand pumps do suck. I thought what a bunch of lazy people when I ordered mine! Complainers ! I got mine then they tell you pump 12 times and let it cool or you burn it out. I thought it would be good exercise pumping it a couple hundred times. Honestly I do not mind the pumping its letting the pump cool a minute or two> I bought two scuba tanks in a week and never looked back. PUMPS SUCK! wanna buy one I will sell you a slightly used one cheap!

Look into using Nitrogen from a gas supplier. Do a search here and you can find info on it.
ok the copper worked for awhile,looks like i need the part from AF,or i have a local high pressure dealer who might have what I need will try them first.thanks

This is how mine is setup. Did you use plumbers tape when screwing everything together? Maybe you need the black Part from AF that I have. I don’t know all the name of this HPA stuff. Just thought I’d show you mine.

Someone on this forum said they were advised to use the 1/8 th adapter directly to the Hill pump to save a little pumping.
If you do that there is a chance of breaking off the 1/8 th fitting at the pump base whereas the hose provides a safer option.
PA now sells the AF adapter with the additional 1/8 th adapter:

Airforce 1/8, 1/4 male BSPP Refill Adapt
They should offer just the 1/8th adapter for those of us that already bought the other two 1/4 adapters for the AF pump and the scuba adapter. It wouldn’t hurt to ask.
