Who can make me a shroud for a talon
About 6 to 8 iches long and i want just a black tube with a rmovable end cap so i can instal my own baffles. Who can make me one and how much would it cost?

i do understand im new on here but im not new to the airgun world i have my own ideas and so far they work great ill have some built soon .the guy who taught me to build this stuff is an x-marine sniper if anyone wants to try one of these just let me know

why not post some pictures of your work? not like that’s PROOF these days but its a start.
For all we know your going to… do i really need to go into detail of all the possible ways this could go BAD?

You shouldn’t take any offense…
your better off just getting a completed shroud if you don’t have a way to turn the washers, you will be playing with some tight tolerances in your washers – tube unless you don’t mind frustration and clipping, and yess you will want baffles in there.
it’s not a mater of you offering a helping hand, it’s that you are the new guy and your stepping on some toes, the biggest toes are of the owner of the form which builds the best shrouds out there.
just a quick word of advise to you, make sure you are not copping anyones designs in any way with what you are building, we have had enough copy cats around here and there are quite a few that are fed up with it 😉

i really dont understand what the fuck the big deal is i was just offering a helping hand plus u dont know the things i can do im sorry for trying to be friendly ive built silencers for rimfire and many centerfire guns and they have been successful so if any of u respectiful ppl on here would like to try one out ill send out a couple to critique them
If i do insert baffles i am going to use washers not any fancy machining. Like k baffle or the like.

There are very well established shroud makers here. With very good rep’s and workman ship. And yet a newby is offering his wears, untried, untested, and UN proven from the get go.
And here on a forum generously given to us by one to the top, and im many minds here the most highly respected and established tuners of our guns in the industry.
Just strikes me a a bit naive and down right arrogant and Rude as hell.
But this is a mods and machinist forum. And i had a question about who could make me one. Not wich ones were the best etc…

I’m with Knife on this one. It is extraordinarily easy to click on the Talon Tunes banner or to read through the dedicated forum and find someone who can make you a shroud.
Good point Lurker. We’ve seen this before haven’t we? Usually the new guy rolls in with some pictures and promises before the first deal though. Maybe the thing to do is just watch. I doubt any of the regulars will be sending money for shrouds just yet!
Hey, I thought that new guys offering products should give some of each away here for the older members to test and report on. Then a trade or price could be set. Then some trusted members have to report on the a quick and satisfactory exchange without being taken.
I think the KNIFE was saying that two new posters apparently making a deal on this forum just DOES NOT CUT IT as far as being considered reputable.
If it comes to my money, it’s personal and I would hate to be taken while the older members just stood by and said nothing.

I don’t get it. There is an entire section on this forum devoted to Shrouds and Moderators. How can you miss it? I Mean, I know your new here Your both are. But how much effort does it take to scroll down and at least take a look at all or at least some of the info?
