JSB Exact Kings at supersonic….
A quick test to see how these JSBs do at supersonic speeds at 50 yrds…
Yeah, yeah, I know for 50 yards the subsonic group is a ‘bit’ loose 😳 but I was cold….. 
For me and my barrel, these are no good at supersonic (surprise surprise 🙄 )
First 2 shots at 1100 were all over the place, then the last 3 grouped at 1075 fps(also ss). Good for those speeds, but too unpredictable. I would not take a shot at a live target at these speeds..
At 100 yards, I would do well to hit the target at all…
1000-1030fps and these pellets do well at 50.CtC 1.25″ Should do well at 100 when I get the chance to try…
I would say the JSB have the advantage over the Kodiaks..just.

Ok, well the pellet on the left looks like the Kodiak and the one on the right must be the JSB. BUT BUT BUT, the Kodiak looks bigger in the pic. ???? I just realized why it is what it is….I was thinking we were talking .22 Cal. I thought the .22 Cal. JSB were 25.4 Gr. and I knew the .22 Cal. Kods. were 21.1.
😆 Your like me ‘sam, rather than just delete the first bit of the sentence once you realised, you go ahead abnd post the whole sentence including the realisation. Kinda like in a ‘real’ conversation.. 😆

Yes, the JSB is 25.4 grains compared to the Kodiak at 31.1 grains.

Yep Pab, about what was expected. For me the Kod’s do fine up to about 60 yards, but not as accurate as the JSB’. At 100 yards, the JSB’s are much more accurate, and a with lot less flyer’s! 😉 😀
HoldOver, your a little slow my friend. They have been doing the .22 sort thing for YEARS!!! 😆
There are lat least a half dozen brands out there. They are much more available in the UK than here. 🙁 But still they don’t shoot anywhere as accurately as the JSB’s.
Where the bullet shaped lead really shines in in windy conditions at extended ranges.

Great test Pab… Looks like even 100FPS made a lot of difference….
I dont think the group is all that bad considering the FPS.
Compare that to a 14 gr pellet at the same speed and I bet the groups open up much more.
What Im getting at here is that I think this is on the right track to fireing at higher velocitys
It may require a 38 or even a 40 grain pellet to keep from de-stabilizeing , then you might have to go into a boat tail design too.
I dont ever like to think in absolutes or limts , If they can mimic the velocitys, weight, and shape of a 22 short , then I think they will have something no one else has.
Some people will say why bother? just use a 22, which is true, but I think that pushing the envelope for airguns is kinda fun .
