Q:

AF scope, Yay or Nay

I was going to purchase the 3-9 x40 AF scope but it seems, through these posts, some of the AF accessories are not that great. I currently have a Bausch and Lomb 3000 Elite 4-12 x 40 on a decked out Ruger 10/22 that I was planning to sell (to justify the Talon purchase), but now I don’t know if I should keep that scope for the Talon and sell the .22 without it.

Any ideas?

The B&L has an adjustable objective out to 300 yards so I was thinking it may be overkill.

Jerry, Your New Night Force Come In yet. Chinese or not, I hear they are pretty good. 😆 😀

Don’t believe Knife, he’s just trying to get all the AF scopes for his collection. Go get some quality AF glass and compare it to that Meopta or Japanese Zeiss stuff and you’ll see why!

don’t make the mistake. i did. 😥

Try something with mildots and a side parallax wheel… Great for figuring
distances and using mildots when in the field….

Hell no!

later

I kept the B&L Elite and have it on the Talon. I could not be happier.

S big NAY!!! AF Scope is a POS! 👿

Thanks for the posts. Easy decision now!

NNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY

Keep the Bausch and Lomb 3000 Elite 4-12 x 40.

Is it a AO scope, mil dot, Keep it regardless. A bushnell 3200 or 4200 to replace with equal value. I think vintage scopes are cool! You wont be happy with a mic Airforce scope?

Will it focus down to 10yd/m. Duh didn’t see A0, Not over kill.

Just my .02 cents

Sam 😕

Sell off the AF scope……get a legend …you wont regret the decision 😉

AF I had one and am not a fan of their scopes. I think they are way overpriced for what your getting.
