Q:

Does it make sense?

On pw 6 16 my gun is goin ss with kodiaks. And my gun is a stock condor and its shooting realy well at 50 yards. And at ranges under 50 i dont hear the crack. But when i shoot into the hill side i hear the ss crack. Should my gun be doing this and im only using a 190 bar fill.

I always thought they were standard, .050″

metric

Are the set screws standard or metric?

I don’t mind the questions. In fact, I enjoy helping when I can. Hell, ask anyone, I ask A LOT of questions. Woo Hoo 1900 posts. Lol.

You dont need to drain out the air to adjust the top hat just don’t tighten it until you know it’s where you want to keep it.

Also be careful not to overtighten or strip out the little set screws.

Ok, I can tell by your questions we are going to have to be careful not to leave some vital info out. You measure with a feeler guage and start with .060 and making the gap larger will increase your fps and your air useage.

So how do i go about adjust the top hat and do i want to increase the space to decrease my fps. Or decrease to decrease my fps and at what space should i start with? Also will my tank have to be empty?

.105 😯 No wonder you are “Cracken” lower it to .060 and work up from there.

Yeap, once you get the top hat set to where you wanted it and then use the power-wheel for fine tunes.

.105

Yep! The Top Hat makes a “LOT” more difference than the power wheel ever can! 😉

What is your top hat set to?

I have no idea. Is it the space between the bottom of the top hat and the tank and how do i adjust it? Sorry for the noobness.

What is your top hat set to?
