If you ARE leading the bore, it is either a rough bore, or you going supesonic.

I could of sworn I read somewhere around here that C.P.’s will lead the bore if you shoot them too fast a lot of rounds.

Geez Jeff, after 14,000 shots to get sighted in you ought to be able to hit the bulls eye at least once! 😆 😆 😆

If it had been cleaned it would be the group would have been in the middle of the square. 😆

How does this group look? The barrel that shot that group has never in its 14,000 shot life been cleaned.

50 yards

And if you think it’s dirty just shoot an earplug through it to get it clean. 🙂

I have shot thousands of pellets without cleaning a barrel.. I use Break
Free on the pellets..
I broke out the BSA Sportsman the other day though, and the first 20 or
so shots were all over the place… After that they settled in and shot 1/2″
groups @ 65yds… The gun had been sitting for about 3 months without
being shot..

Leading is not a problem in airgun barrels. Add a couple squirts of Break Free to the tin and your barrel will virtually keep itself clean.
