Q:

What do you think?

I don’t use the AF foregrip and don’t like the way the rifle looks without anything there. I angled a little out of my Picatinny rail and found it fits the frame quite well. Maybe Ill add a short broomstick or something not sure yet.

looks good. I was thinking about getting one of those fore grips.

Thanks.

It is way more natural of a feel and the hook at the end of the grip is a great reference as well. Funy how a slight angle of a grip can make a difference. 😀

Finally got pissed off with that STUPID 11mm rail drilled and tapped my upper and lower rail for a 20mm rail. Also removed the stock forearm grip and added one from my CAR-15, just feels much better! 🙂

Here is where I got the grip.

and here is where I bought the picatinny rails.

both needed some cutting to get them to work the way I wanted.

I run a similar set up with my utg rails…yours look longer than the utg’s what brand? I like the looks of the stock airforce grip along with the WOKGUARD. They kind of flow nice together. I would simply slide those rails forward and put the stock grip back on to have them both. 😉

Man can you tell me where i can get the same grip as you?
Your gun looks really nice! 😯

I will probably put a short vertical grip on. Over 90% of my shooting is done from a table or prone. I can hold the rail just as well as the AF grip, plus once my new tank is put on and scope reinstalled it will be very heavy for off-hand shooting. That’s where the new Edgun comes in.

With those rails you have lots of foregrip options… That’s the beauty of that system… I bet you could even find a bag slider that works with the weaver system for shooting off a front rest. 😉

I think you need some on top of the barrel for accessories…. 😀 😎

AF should make a picatinny version that has all picatinny rails on all dovetailed surfaces.

He’s a dreamer… 😆

I totally agree though, dovetails are so last century. 😉

I have a weaver/pic rail on my 10/22 and I take off the scope (has a one piece mount) to disassemble and clean and it doesn’t need any zeroing when I go back out to shoot… I have to shim my the scope mount on my af so removing it is a pita…

Nice mod, but I can’t see how not having some type of a foregrip is a plus, unless you’re shooting 100% of the time off a bipod.

bought them, there about $20.

Did u buy those or make them….I’ve been thinking of doing something similar..
