Talon SS Scope
Newbie looking for a good 4x16x50 or there about scope for talon ss, Any suggestions?

Bushnell Banner is pretty good. I had their AO scope on a RWS 350 for 4000 rounds before it failed. Now I have the replacement scope on a rim fire. It should last forever.
One thing I can say. Leapers have already shipped my replacement scope, in less than a week. Bushnell took about six weeks. I don’t know about Burris or Leupold scopes but they both have lifetime warranties.
Its rare to find that in an industry.
Maybe we need a new thread somewhere with what scopes people use and any experiences. That would certainly help newcomers and people wanting an upgrade.
Only Hawke and Burris were mentioned in this thread, and I just gotta believe that there are more than those 2 companies that make a good scope with the sought after requirements……but if it’s man-made , it can fail. just like gimmick adn his TV. anyway, if it messes up. I’ll send it back to PA and try something else..hell it’s only money 😯 😯 😯
There were several brands suggested, and Leapers WASN’T one of them. 😉 Some times you have to be able to read between the lines. 😆
I had a Samsung TV fail under warranty. A lot of people have no problems at all.
I’ve decided cheap optics are a false economy. I will treat them like a pro camera lens with matching price tag. If my Bushnell or Burris fail then I’m switching to Leupold.

I had a leapers 4×32 scope “TruStrength” and one month of my Talon SS and the internals fell apart. I’ve returned it to Leapers for a free-of-charge replacement. I’ll probably keep it as a spare as the Burris is incredibly good.
Hope you have better luck with your Leapers than I. A lot of people seem happy with them.
On the advice of a good friend, I just today ordered a Leapers, 3-12x44AO mil-dot SWAT mini scope…short so that it looks right with the TalonSS…also ordered the BIG parallax adjustment wheel, (tactical look) and set of mounts…..he swears by his scope, says it’s one of the best he’s ever owned.Clear and plenty bright, easy to adjust parallax, and not too expensive…..$130.00 at Pyramyd Air….if it’s as good as he claims, ought to be a really good one! has sunshade, flip up covers..plus you get free shipping and all totalled was $156.93. Will post up my impression (FWIW) if that will be of any help 🙄 🙄 has to be better than the 3-9×40 I’m using now…I robbed it from my HPA 2250 😆 😆 .
do a search at PA..type in PY-A-818…takes you right to the scope.
Checkout the Burris 4.5-14x 32mm AO long eye relief scope at Academy. I’m blown away by the quality of it. Very easy to sight in. Remember the click adjustments are 1/8″ @ 100 yards.
Haven’t used any scopes from Hawke,but I do have 2 of their Sport red-dots on my pistols…a good product at a most reasonable price 😀
