My new P1 with pics and groups
Got my P1 the other day it is .177 cal
fit is very nice and the trigger is sweet
i bought some crosman pointed field pellets and some hyper velocity competition wadcutter copperheads i dont know the weights of these pellets
but i know with the copperheads i can get better groups with a sling shot . lol.
with the crosmans they shot pretty well.
i was shooting at 12 yards with the stock open sights i put around 50 pellets through the gun befor i did the 10 shot group
so total i have put 60 pellets through this gun since i got it. it is my first time shooting a P1 so i think my groups with improve.
i had 2 with a very loose fit and when shot they hit wide. i believe weigh sorting these and measuring them will improve them and also i need to get a pellet sampler to see if there are better pellets for this gun

She is no longer a “keeper” with crowpopper as he has been kind enough to pass her on to me after he had his way with her 😆 But sloppy seconds on a Beeman p1 are alright by me.
She is not that heavy. Fits the hand nicely and balances quite well. Very accurate. I opened the package and set up a target at 10 yards. I managed to put 8 out of 10 in a dime sized group(off hand) with (loose fitting Cp’s 7.9) and 2 out of the 10 still kept it a nickel sized group. Very nice gun although I may eventually polish the entire gun to a mirror like shine as she is made out of aircraft aluminum. I am sure someone has done this before..but I have never saw it with my own eyes.

I’d say that’s very good…. 595 at 7.9gn is 6.21 ft/lbs… pretty decent for a pistol.

i chronied it a lil while ago 15 shots all between 595.1-598.2
thats with cp heavies 7.9 grains
is this good power for this gun?
i can shoot 19 yards in my basement
i had a few pingpong balls and was hitting 8 outta 10 i put a whole tin of 250 through the gun
its a blast to shoot and accurate enough for my intended use
now i need a holster to carry it while hiking and such
is it the same as a 1911’s
i am gonna order one if so

lightly gripping the gun with one hand and supporting that hand with the palm of my other doing my best to shoot as i let my breath out to keep it still
