Yeap you’re pump is fucked. I have repaired a few with the same problem and it is usually an o-ring being badly damaged or in one case the check valve spring.

If you decide to fix it yourself get a complete o-ring kit from Airforce, a check valve spring, and silicone grease.

Anyone here using the benjamin hand pump? I pumped this thing up to 2900 psi did alot of shooting today no poi difference at the end, i go to pump it up again won’t go past 50 psi.. becomes very hard to pump does that mean it does not need any more air at the time???

that normally means your pump is fucked. Sorry….

Sounds as though that pump overheated and the seals are damaged. Thats why folks recommend the Hill pump or the FX pump. Lots and lots of problems with the Benjamin pump and the Air Force pump.

Next time it won’t be so bad… The tank won’t be empty. 😉

Yes it will, invest in a scuba tank, you will spend more time with the pump than shooting.
