New barrel ???
I got my new 12″ barrel today and it only takes 2 set screws . how do I mount this barrel in my late frame that has 4 screws? Do I drill the bushings or change them out? Or do I have to build another gun and have 2 af shooters? I kinda like the last option . 😆

Last option is obviously preferred. 🙂
You can just get new bushings for the barrel that will fit in the frame correctly. You can probably get them straight from airforce.

There were “intermediate” guns that had 4 set screw holes in the frame, but only 1 set screw hole in each bushing – the side frame holes just held a short set screw that pressed agaisnt bushing instead of going into a recess on bushing.
Could just buy short set screws and use those on sides.
