Q:

Condor trigger mod complete.

First I want to give credit to the person who did, the donating of this outstanding mod to the TAG.

Second I want to Caution everyone that this mod }}}}—-> VOIDS the WARRANTY <—-{{{{ on the frame and not on the Hi Flo tank.

This is a fairly simple mod requiring tools to disassemble, a drill, and a Tap with matching drill bit. It involves drilling and taping 2 screw holes. Installing two screws and carefully aligning the over travel and preload for the trigger. The tuned trigger is as different as night and day. The trigger is very good now. I removed about 80 % of the preload for a very short first stage. All of the over travel was eliminated, the trigger stops after breaking.

The over travel screw hole is drilled into the steel trigger group cover and is a no brainer .

The preload screw hole is drilled into the aluminum frame and I recommend the ut most caution and prep to do this one. I used a 10-32 set screw, but a smaller set screw is better, giving more clearance to work with.

I used a 1/4 inch long screw for over travel and a 1/8 inch long set screw for preload. The frame is less than an 1/8 inch thick and after alignment one thread was above the frame. A longer screw was too close to the breech for me.

This mod should be considered, it will enhance the accuracy of ya condor.

Really

Yeah this is deff a must modification. Everyone should do the over travel at least. If you have the new trigger cover with tapped hole just get a 1/4″ 10/32 set screw and your good to go.

Naw…you talking ridiculous?? Buy a Crosman Storm XT, or perhaps any other $100.00 break-barrel spring rifle…THOSE kind have a ridiculous trigger!!..it can be made much better, as all things can, but in comparison, Air Force stuff is good-right outta the box.Which is another reason I HAD to get me one…I be diggin’ the high-techness 😀

I bought my condor used and it already had this trigger mod. installed, but I did’nt really appreciate it until I got a new talonSS and pulled the trigger the 1st time 😯 What a difference! The trigger pull length on these guns out of the box is ridiculous really.

This is one I’m gonna have to do.

Yup, smooth as silk now 😀

Yellow Ninja: I misread the post.

Nice.

Just want to point out that I didnt come up with the modification – I just took pictures and documented it.
