Please PM me your addresses. I’ve got you guys on the list to do some .22 testing. If I forgot anyone that I promised a shot at the original testing, PM me with your address as well.

We have the .22 mold and I have cast a couple hundred slugs with it myself. The mols works well and produces good slugs when it’s at the right temperature and the pour technique is good. It it a PITA to get that all lined up though. Especially with the different sized slugs. We can do it though.

The main question now is: are the slugs worth a hoot, will they fly?

Some of you have emailed to buy the slugs on the expectation that they will work well. Thanks. If you really want the slugs before we know they work, I’ll sell them to you with no implied promise. There will be no refunds and I make no statement of effectiveness ahead of testing. I really wish that I could predict how they work with some certitude but I can’t. They may be better than the piledrivers or they might not be. At least they won’t come with unsubstantiated hype.

Assuming they work decent, the large and small versions will be $15 per 100 just like the .25s. The medium size will be $18.50 per 100. The reason is that the medium will take more than double the effort to produce.

I’ll let you all know how testing goes and any of the testers can post any and all results as they choose.
