Q:

Quick Release Scope Rings.

Since getting back into Shooting sports, I tend have more rifles than scopes. Air rifles and scopes have had a big learning curve for me. What looks good for eye candy and is easy on the pocket book winds up being of poor quality. And always falls short of expectation?

So now I wind up moving scopes off and on the guns depending on intended use. This requires removing and re installing scope rings to match the individual rifle. 11mm dovetail or weaver base, high or low scope rings. Now I have a shoebox full of scope rings. Someday hope to have a permanent scope for each.

So my solution for now is use the BKL 1″ wide, 11mm to weaver base on my air rifles, weaver base is already on my centerfire. And use weaver detachable top mount rings and the leupold quick release weaver style rings.

By using these rings and base I can swap scopes without the hassle of removing and reinstalling the scope rings, of course scope zero is required. The weaver rings require a coin, the leupold’s have a release lever, so no tools needed.

These rings have low shoulders, and thin straps, giving an unobstructed view of the parallax, elevation, and windage turrets.

BKL bases………………………………………………..Weaver top mount rings

Leupold Quick Release weaver style………………………BKL-568 4″ Long Adaptor Base.
