What gauge should I use?
I am currently working on pumping my 62ci tanks and was wondering if I should use the Hill gauge or the gauge on my E-tac. The Hill shows about 2550psi and the E-tac shows 2400psi. Any suggestions?

The bigger are supposed to be more accurate.
Splitting the difference is probably your best bet. 🙂
Split the difference and call it good. The big guage is most likely the accurate one.

That’s 150 psi difference, not alot to worry about. Believe I’d go with the higher reading. Generally it’s accepted that the larger gauges are more accurate, but you need check it with a known accurate gauge. Maybe take the tank to a scuba/dive shop. Have them fill and compare to their gauge reading.
