Q:

Misfire or tiny mouse fart.

Don’t know what else to call it. Today I put 2400 p.s.i. in my tank and screwed it to the gun. Took first shot and it sounded like it was almost out of air. So I loaded it again with out a pellet shot it sounded good. Loaded it again with a pellet and same thing tiny mouse fart. This happened 3 times then I took another 6 shots and gun worked perfectly. TH is .071 and power wheel at 0. Does anyone know why that happened. Thanks.

Thanks guys. The first thing I did was put power wheel to no. 2.5 and made sure the bolt handle was turned to the side. Tried 6 shots and all were fine. I have checked the Airforce guage with another fill adapter and the were very very close. I guess it could have been valve lock bacause power wheel not engaged. Have to watch that. Thanks again.

I have this problem too…most of the time its the first shot and sometimes after the 5th or tenth shot I may get one with low fps…
for example im shooting at 1000 fps and once in a while i may get a shot at 500+ or 700+ fps shot….wierd 🙄

Seems kind of like valve lock.

Two ways to get around this:

Either turn your PW up so that it can open the valve fully

OR reduce the fill pressure.

I would try the PW first and see if that sorts out the problem.

Was your cocking knob to the side? If you leave it in the middle it can cause a low power shot.

Sounds like valve lock! Try a 2200 psi fill. You may need to check the gauge you’re using?

Are you using an airforce fill adapter. They’re known to have issues with their fill adapter air pressure gauge.

If you have a chrony. Check the velocity you’re getting?

Sam 🙂
