Q:

my semi daily routine….

i have this cat…well she thinks shes a retriever…that loves finches and english sparrows!!! she waits…when the ss cocks and she hears it she comes running…sits at my feet and waits for it…she likes them best when theryre still alive but she eats them either way. shes the second one ive had…in 92 i had one and an r-7, and she’d eat any kind of bird i would kill her. in fact thats all that cat ate. this one i have now is more finicky, she only eats sparrows and finches, and regular cat food.
ive been on crutches the last 3 weeks(broken ankle snowboarding) and havent been able to shoot, but i decided to try .177 rws hollowpoints for the first time today in the ss , and WOW!!! whatta difference ive only had my ss for a few months but just switched to 18 inch barrels only (.177 and .22). from the factory 12 inch .20. and added a 3″ frame extender/moderator.
i havent actually got to do real ballistics testing and recovery of pellets but im astonished….theese pellets always performed best (out of all the other h.p’s in my lower powered guns…r7-r9-and 5g mag pistol….but today my kitties sparrow went POP!!! @ 11 yards…
i cant wait till my ankle feels better and i can do more experimenting….
ill be putting up pics for sure!!

hahaha thats great!!! i used to have a yorkie too…she was a great little dog…now i have a chug…half chihuahua-half pug…cute mini boxer look a like!!! no hunter tho’….
my cat likes when i just nick em enough to make them flutter around a little too!!! but she will eat the remains of a popped (direct hit with hollowpoint) one as well. she does like to play with her food.
i must be doing something right my “wife” loves our cat and how healthy and shiny she is.
of course she and i have each been married once before….and fully agree with all the marriage points, so we just play the part…we each have a child(girls) from before, and one of ours (boy)together, i got her the car and rings blah blah blah….but the reality is ….we only want to make that mistake once!!! its true….shit does change after marriage…..thats why we say “mirage” instead!!!

Those ring are magic . You spend a shit load of money on it then give it away and it makes you girlfriend gain weight ,turns you in to a slave wrecks your sex life takes away your freedom shortens hunting and fishing season emptys your bank account ruins you car and on and on .

That’s funny dude about your Cat… I had a minx cat a few years ago now that was the same way… It was a female also and was quite the hunter herself, but she knew all to well what the cock of the air rifle was all about and knew it was time to go running beside me and wait for the fallen victum…

My wife has these little Yorkies now and they are no different either… They actually chase the birds around the back yard on their own LOL… When the wife is not home I will let the Yorkies out and take the air rifle of choice and shoot a bird or two for them to pounce on LOL… Just don’t let the wife know about this as she thinks the birds way to nasty for her little darlin’ Yorkies… She doesn’t think of them as dogs LOL… But then they don’t think they are dogs either LOL… Least of all small runts as they are… Great rodent chasers, they have really keen eye sight and really quick, much faster than a cat even… Around the wood pile, they are really something to watch, but only when the wife is not here 🙂

When the wife is here, they are getting a bath or hair cut, nails all cut and groomed, I am allowed to live here with the wife and her kids(Yorkies) to serve and protect. Much like a second class citizen LOL… When I had the Minx Cat, before we got married 21 years ago; she didn’t have anything to say about the cat LOL… We did pretty much what we wanted till I put a ring on the girl friend LOL… That changes every thing trust me on this!!!

Lol, at 11 yards the air blast alone should do the job 😆
