my condors benchrest style forestock(UPDATED PICS PAINT ADD)
well i finally had time to work on the forestock blank i got(thanks jeff)
i am going to hardware store today for either paint or truckbed liner
it came out pretty decent for using my pocket knife, a small woodsaw and some sand paper
what do ya think?
i finished paiting and sanding last night it is complete now.
now the next project is the pistol grip i need to get some wood rasp’s to finish it up and ill have a matching set on this gun. hope yall like it

Did you do your forestock freehand or make a drawing?

Might try black stain then put a few satin polyurethane coats on. Wood grain would still show. I did that when I re did the stock on my marlin camp 9 and it looks sweet
If you’re planning to bench it I would suggest paint or something that will slide rather than bedliner.

looks good Crow what kind of wood is that looks to be beech or birtch should turn out good Airforce projects never done are they!!

i got the inletted blank from Jeff but the design i did freehanded with a pocket knife a handsaw and some sand paper
the hole for the mounting screw i just drilled a holed the size of the screw all the way through and then countersunk one just big enough for the head of the screw
