Q:

H&N Rabbit magnum……. What yall think?

I was wondering if these pellets would be suitable for supersonic flight due to the “Bullet” design.

I can shoot kodiaks at about 1020 with my 18″ barrel and was wondering if anyone has tried these pellets?

They seem similar to the Eley Magnums.

I might have to find myself a 24″ barrel and give them a go, however if im getting a new barrel, i might as well go with .25

Too many ideas in my head and not enough money…

Benzen you must mean .090 on top hat not 9?

Nope. He means 9 mutha fuckin’ inches of top hat dude. This produces over 1000 fpe and sucks the bottle inside out………

Yes thats correct, depends on altitude, temperature and humudity.

I should be ordering 2 tins of the AA field plus tomorow

Ill be sure to let you know hoe they shoot

Dave

Isn’t SB dependent on elevation?

Thats brilliant, thanks pab

I was aware that they were labeled as the AA field plus but wasnt able to find them for sale.

Not a bad price too

On a kind of similar note, Whilst shooting over the chrony, shooting 15.9 JSB’s, any results over 1080 seemed supersonic (I have a full shroud and sounded more like a .17HMR) then when it dropped down to 1060, I was getting the THUNK that I usually get from shooting it.

Would the speed of sound be this low?

I tried to counteract this by using kodiaks but this was waisting a lot of air and could only get about 15 usuable shots, where I was getting 30 with the 15.9 JSB’s. I need something a little heavier than the 15.9 and lighter than the 21gr kodiaks. However i cant really get the 18gr JSB’s because Im from the UK and they are quite expensive.

JSB 18 g are labeled as AirArms Field Plus.

I get a sonic crack at aroud 1060 here. Officially I thinks its about 1150fps.

There has not been a pellet yet that is accurate at super sonic speeds….
Many have tried them all in search of the magical pellet/gun combination….
