Talon SS or Condor as FT gun
Has anyone out there ever used an 18 inch Talon SS or even a Condor as a field target gun?
If so, what are your thoughts.

i plan on using mine sometimes…im not a hardcore f/ter but ill use mine.
i have an ss with 18″ barrels. laminate stock etc….its not an equipment race…just have fun!
I do have several other guns and the one I use lots in FT shooting is my Air Arms TX200 for a springer and an Air Arms EV2 for my PCP FT gun. But I was just wondering about the possibility of using one of my spare Talon SS guns and turning it into a FT gun. Sort of as a kool summer project.

Yes they have – I think it was done mainly to show that it could be, not that it should.
If thats all you have and your not interested for whatever reason in buying another rifle then go for it. If your looking to put together a new FT gun then I’d recommend buying something else. There are other, more egonomic rifles out there better suited.

Hmm, the Edge might be a very good starting point. Since my birthday is coming up an Edge would make a great gift from my wife. hehe
