Older SS with Plastic Hammer
I have an older SS that I bought used. It has a hammer that is solid plastic like shown on the Stealth site. Inside the hammer are some yellow plastic disks. These seem to have slipped and I was noticing that it seemed to be binding when I cocked it and the shots were lower powered. Is there some way to fix these so that they don’t slip. Or should I get a new hammer from Air Force? I am not looking for super high power so I don’t think that I need one of the after market heavier hammers. Just really want around 850 fps with good pellets for starlings. Too much power and I punch holes through the steel roof in the barn.
Thanks

Nothing really looks worn out. It is definitely an early model as it has a screw in muzzle piece that allows you to remove it to add a bean can or something. Also it has the plastic bushings and only two screws to hold the barrel in. Is there a link to a parts list or do you just email/call Air Force?
