How to reduce the volume of a tank?
Hey guys,
Tinkering with the E-TaCREG. Got it working, just adjusting the pressures. Looks really promising.
I can adjust the pressures from next to nothing to over 2500psi in the chamber.
The problem is I’m going through my tank fills very quickly with this 48in^3 tank. I have to fill it to beyond the reg setting every time I try something different…That’s a lot of air going in for very little use.
The question I have is: Has anyone put anything in their tank to reduce the fill volume??? I was thinking rags or newspaper would work, but wanted to know if something else works better.

I’d do plastic balls or beds, you can find them in many stuffed animals. Goodwill or Salvation Army thrift stores are great resources for stuffed animals cheap. I get them for the dog to destroy, not the plastic beaded ones though, the dog would eat the beads… 🙄

Put a bunch of marbles in there 😉
People have used aluminum rod with thread cut into it as a test “tank”.
I think you’d need a LOT of rags to reduce volume – water if you dont mind testing vertically would work.
