if it is crosman it is not chocked and u can cut it no problem
i took mine to a bandsaw and then used a larger sized drill bit to make a bit of a crown then just polished it with valve grinding compound til it was silky smooth
If it’s a AF bbl. It’s choked. 😉

Push a pellet down the barrel, it sould be smooth with no tight sopts until you get an inch or so away from the muzzle, This means it is choked

Its a stock 24″ crosman barrel from a 2250. I will look down the bore when I get home from work. I was assuming that these are not choked…
if its not chocked(assuming its not)
cut it off and then just do your muzzle with some dowel rod and valve grinding compound
i did it and it worked very well ( the dowel in a low speed drill)
Well assuming it is a choked barrel, you should cut from the breech end to keep the choke or accuracy might go to pot
