squirrels
What do you all do with the squirrels you shoot? Throw them away, feed them to your dogs, eat them?

I like the pull the hair off of the tail so when I eat them I realize I am really just eating rat. 😆 No, I don’t eat them. 😛
I throw them out in the yard and wait for something to come eat it, and then shoot that. Rinse and repeat. 😀
Gray squirrel is good eats. Fried, grilled, crock-poted??? I’ve heard coon can be good if cooked right. Never scorched a squirrel. Just skin them using the cut around the tail and belly and pull them out their skin method.
yep…rooster tails company gives 10 cents each for em’.
The info amazes me, once again.
HEY, I HEAR YOU CAN SEND THE TAILS TO THE MEPPS FISHING LURE COMPANY
I’ll cut the tail off, dip it in salt, then let it dry in the sun…

Peter, I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not? I sense some kind of pull on my leg though. 😆
I might be game to trying it if i can get over the rodent thing lol 😕
or sell em to my oriental friends, they love em!!
tree squirrels… they are delicious 😀 first we burn them, scrap off the hair, take out the inside and clean the skin. Then marinate the thing for a day or two with pretty much anything. After that we throw em into a pot with potatoes and other greens and wait til the skin and meat becomes soft and tender and the liquid becomes sticky… MAN sounds good!! too bad tree squirrel dont open again til Sept. 12… 😛 😛
